Hallo, ihr Lieben! Ich melde mich zurück aus meiner etwas unfreiwilligen Blogpause. Eigentlich wollte ich mir nur eine kurze Auszeit nehmen und ein paar Tage mit der Familie wegfahren. Für Sonntag hatte ich schon wieder einen neuen Post geplant. Doch als wir von unserem Kurztrip zurückkamen, ging es meiner Schwiegermutter sehr schlecht und wir mussten sie ins Krankenhaus bringen. Glücklicherweise hat sich unser Verdacht auf einen Schlaganfall nicht bestätigt und sie leidet "nur" unter einem Drehschwindel. Der ist allerdings sehr hartnäckig, aber wir sind trotzdem optimistisch, dass die Ärzte das in den Griff bekommen.
Hi folks! I'm back from my somewhat involuntary blog break. I've been on a short trip with my family and originally I planned to only skip one post and be back on Sunday. But when we returned we found my mother-in-law in a very bad condition and had to take her to hospital. Fortunately what we feared to be a stroke turned out to be "merely" a vertigo. This, however, is very persistent but hopefully the doctors will be able to help her.

Inzwischen habe ich es gestern endlich wieder an den Basteltisch geschafft und dabei diese bunte Geburtstagskarte fabriziert. Das gestempelte Panel lag noch seit der letzten Coloring Challenge bei mir herum, sodass ich mich ganz aufs Kolorieren konzentrieren konnte. Die lockere Aquarelltechnik im Stil von Yoonsun Hur wollte ich schon lange einmal ausprobieren. Ich war mir nicht sicher, ob mir das gelingt, weil ich sonst ja immer sehr akkurat koloriere, aber ich muss sagen, mit dem Ergebnis bin ich sehr zufrieden. Vor allem die Farben gefallen mir sehr gut.
Yesterday I finally managed to return to my craft room and create this colorful birthday card. I had already prestamped the panel for the last Coloring Challenge so that I could fully focus on the coloring. The loose watercolor technique in Yoonsun Hur's style was something I had wanted to try out for quite some time. I wasn't sure if I could do it because my usual coloring style is rather controlled and clean. But I'm really happy with the outcome especially with the colors I combined here.
