Da mir das abstrakte Arbeiten in meinem Art Journal so gut gefallen hat, habe ich gleich noch eine Seite in ganz ähnlichem Stil gemacht.

Zum allerersten Mal habe ich hier mit Acrylfarbe etwas ganz detailliert gezeichnet. Witzig nicht? Ich habe zwar schon oft mit Acrylfarbe rumgematscht, aber richtig gemalt hatte ich damit vorher noch nicht.
For the very first time I even did some detailed painting with acrylic paint here. Isn't that fun? Sure I had used acrylic paint before and played around with it several times, but I had never used it for some serious painting before.

Mit dem Auge bin ich leider nur halb zufrieden. Bei der Arbeit daran sind mir zwei Missgeschicke passiert. Zunächst ist mir schwarze Acrylfarbe auf den Bereich unter der Braue getropft, was ich so gut wie möglich zu Übermalen versucht habe, und dann habe ich es beim Einzeichnen der Wimpern ein bisschen übertrieben. Ansonsten gefällt es mir aber eigentlich ganz gut. Beim nächsten Auge wird alles besser. ;o)
I'm only half satisfied with the eye. Two mishaps occured when working on it: Firstly, I accidentally dripped some black paint in the area below the brow which I tried to hide as good as possible by painting over it, secondly I overdid it a bit when drawing in the eyelashes. But with the rest of this spread I'm quite pleased. Next time I'll do better. ;o)
