Puh, heute bin ich ziemlich spät dran für meinen üblichen Mittwochspost, aber für das lange Wochenende und die bevorstehenden Feiertage gab es noch so viel zu tun, dass der Blog heute leider warten musste. Aber jetzt habe ich endlich Zeit, euch diese Muttertagskarte zu zeigen, die zwischen der ganzen Hektik bei mir noch entstanden ist.
Whew, I'm a bit late today for my usual Wednesday post, but with the long weekend ahead and the upcoming public holidays over here in Germany I've had so much to do that the blog had to wait a bit. Now, however, I finally have the time to share this Mother's Day card that came into being in between all the hustle and bustle.

Verwendet habe ich das wunderbare "Roses For You"-Set von Simon Says Stamp, das nach kürzlich bei mir eingezogen ist. Eigentlich ist es für Valentinstags-, Hochzeits- oder Liebeskarten gedacht, aber ich finde, es passt auch wunderbar für Muttertagskarten. Für die Koloration habe ich nach langer Zeit wieder einmal meine Distress Re-Inker hervorgeholt. Der Grußtext stammt aus einem alten Set von Stampin' Up.
For it I've used the wonderful "Roses For You" set by Simon Says Stamp which I purchased during the recent Flash Sale at Simon. Actually it has been designed for Valentine's Day or wedding cards but I think it's also a very good set to design Mother's Day cards with. To color in the flowers I've taken out my Distress Re-Inkers again after quite a long while. The greeting (reading "For my wonderful mum") is from an older German set by Stampin' Up.
