Draußen wird es langsam kälter und abgesehen von ein paar Geburtstagen, die noch bevorstehen, ist das nächste große Fest, auf das wir in unserer Familie zusteuern, Weihnachten. Daher werde ich mich langsam, aber sicher wieder verstärkt auf die Weihnachtskartenproduktion konzentrieren.
Nature's slowly cooling down here in Germany and a few upcoming birthdays aside the next huge thing to celebrate in my family will be Christmas. So surely but steadily I'll be focusing more decisively on creating Christmas cards.

Für die heutige Karte habe ich drei Stempelsets von My Favorite Things kombiniert: "Harvest Mouse", "Winter Wonderland" und "Sweet Forest Friends". Das "Harvest Mouse"-Set enthält eigentlich vornehmlich Herbstmotive, aber die kleine Maus mit ihrem Mäntelchen und dem warmen Schal wirkte so winterlich auf mich, dass ich dachte, man könne sie auch gut auf eine Weihnachtskarte bringen.
For todays card I've combined three stamp sets by My Favorite Things - "Harvest Mouse", "Winter Wonderland" and "Sweet Forest Friends". "Harvest Mouse" acutally is an autumn set with lots of lovely autumn images, but little Mr. Mouse with his tiny coat and the warm scarf looked so wintry to me that I thought I could as well put him on a Christmas card.

Koloriert habe ich alle Motive mit Polychromos. Die Hintergrundelemente - Himmel und Berge - habe ich mal wieder mit Distress Inks gewischt.
All images are colored with Polychromos. The background elements - the sky and the mountain range - are again sponged with Distress Inks.
