Endlich darf ich euch verraten, worüber ich mich schon seit einiger Zeit mächtig freue: Ich stehe diesen Monat im Designer Spotlight der Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, d.h. ich darf den ganzen Monat lang als Gastdesignerin auf dem Challengeblog dabei sein.
Finally I may reveal a secret I've had to keep for much too long a time and which makes me inredibly happy: This month I'm honored to be in the Designer Spotlight of Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge, i.e. I'm guest designing on their challenge blog all May long.
Das Thema der dieswöchigen Challenge lautet "Hint of Pink". Und dies ist die Karte, die ich dazu gemacht habe:
This week's challenge theme is "Hint of Pink", and this is the card I made to inspire you.
Im Fokus stehen in dieser Woche Hero-Arts-Produkte. Für die Challenge müsst ihr nicht zwangsläufig Sachen dieses Hersteller verwenden, aber falls ihr welche habt, würden wir uns freuen, wenn ihr sie benutzt. Im Zentrum meiner Karte stehen zwei wunderschöne Blumenmotive von Hero Arts. Die Stempel sind schon etwas älter, aber mir gefallen sie so gut wie am ersten Tag. Zunächst habe ich die Blüten auf Kraftpapier embossed und dann mit Distress-Ink-Markern und Prismacolor-Stiften koloriert. Anschließend habe ich sie mit 3d-Schaumklebeband zusammengefügt und - abermals mit Schaumklebeband - auf mein vorbereitetes Panel aufgebracht, das ich dann auf die Kartenbasis geklebt habe. We are showcasing Hero Arts products this week. You don't have to use them to join the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used. My card's focal point are two beautiful flower images by Hero Arts. These are not the newest stamps by by this company but I still love them as much as I did on day one. First up I heat embossed the flowers in white on kraft cardstock and then I colored them with Distress Ink Markers and Prismacolor pencils. After that I put them together using foam adhesive and and adhered them - again using foam adhesive - to my prepared panel which I glued to my card base.
