Das Thema lautet "frosting" und die erste Assoziation zu dem Begriff ist Backen, aber das Inspirationsfoto, das zu der Challenge gehört, hat mich so sehr an ein üppiges Blumenarrangement erinnert, dass ich mich entschlossen habe, eine florale Karte für die Challenge zu machen.
The theme for the current challenge is "frosting" and what comes to mind first when hearing this word is the world of baking, but I couldn't help thinking about lush flower bouquets when looking at the inspiration photo, which comes with the challenge too, so I decided to make a flower card for the occasion.

Für die Koloration der Karte habe ich mich sehr eng an dieses Videotutorial von Dawn Woleslagle, der Inhaberin von WPlus9 gehalten. Dawn ist eine ganz großartige Aquarellkünstlerin und ihre Tutorials sind immer unheimlich informativ. In die Karte, die sie in ihrem Video zeigt, habe ich mich auf den ersten Blick verliebt, und ich bin froh, endlich eine Gelegenheit gefunden zu haben, ihre Technik und Tipps selbst auszuprobieren.
For my coloring I closely followed this video tutorial by Dawn Woleslage, owner of WPlus9. Dawn is an awesome watercolor artist, and her tutorials are hugely informative. I instantly fell in love with the card she shares in her video and I'm glad I finally had the chance to give her technique and tipps a try.
