Ich habe diesmal eine Karte von der lieben Jeanin von Some Bits and Pieces bekommen. Tatsächlich gab es sogar nicht nur eine Karte, sondern - passend zu Halloween - auch noch etwas Süßes für mich: eine himmlisch leckere Tafel Schokolade in einer grandiosen Glitzerverpackung, passend zur Karte. Beides könnt ihr auf dem Bild unten sehen. Ein grandioses Set, findet ihr nicht auch? Ich bin jedenfalls restlos begeistert. Vielen lieben Dank für dieses wunderbare Halloween-Set, Jeanin!
This time I received a card by lovely Jeanin from Some Bits and Pieces. Actually, she didn't only make me a card but also a little treat (to fit in with the Halloween theme): a delicious bar of chocolate. You can see both of Jeanin's creations on the image below. Don't you too find this set totally amazing? Me, at least, I'm absolutely in love with it. Thank you so much for this wonderful Halloween set, Jeanin!

Nun zu meinem Projekt für den Hop. Ich durfte die liebe Julia bewichteln, und ich hoffe, sie hat sich über meine Karte gefreut.
Now let's turn to my project for the hop. I've had the pleasure to create a card for lovely Julia, and I hope she liked it.

Julia liebt Aquarellfarben und ihre Designs sind immer sehr zart und modern, aber dennoch verspielt. Daher habe ich auch meine Karte eher zart und herbstlich gehalten und das Gruselthema nicht allzu sehr ausgeschöft. Die süße "Midnight" von Purple Onion Designs - eine Katze, die sich als Hexe verkleidet - bot sich als Motiv dafür geradezu an. Koloriert habe ich sie mit Aquarellmarkern von Winsor & Newton. Das bunte Herbstlaub im Hintergrund habe ich mit Distress Inks gewischt, die Stanzen sind von Lawn Fawn. Infos zu allen anderen Materialien findet ihr unten am Ende des Posts in meiner Materialliste.
Julia loves watercolors and her designs are always rather soft and modern but yet playful. That's why I, too, used soft autumn colors and did not get too creepy with the Halloween theme on my card. Sweet "Midnight" by Purple Onion Designs - a cat who dressed up as a witch - was a perfect image for this purpose. I colored her with Winsor & Newton Watercolor markers. To make the autumn leaves I sponged some white cardstock with Distress Inks and then die-cut it with foliage dies by Lawn Fawn.
