Purple Onion Designs Blog Hop

Um dieses Ereignis zu feiern und Michele, die Inhaberin von POD, die gerade einen Todesfall in der Familie hat, ein wenig zu unterstützen und aufzumuntern, hat die wunderbare Sandy Allnock für heute einen Überraschungs-Blog-Hop organisiert, und das ist die Karte, die ich für den Hop gestaltet habe:

To celebrate the occasion and to support and cheer up Michele, the owner of POD, who just lost a close family member, a bit, lovely Sandy Allnock has organized a suprise bloghop. This is the card I created for the hop.



Für meine Karte habe ich zunächst den Zweig mit markerfester Tinte auf ebensolches Papier gestempelt und den Vogel mithilfe eines Stempelsetzers darauf platziert. Anschließend habe ich das Motiv mit Copics koloriert und ausgeschnitten. Für den Hintergrund habe ich die Karte am Rand mit Malerkrepp maskiert und für den Mond einen Kreis aus ablösbarem Etikettenpapier ausgestanzt und aufgeklebt. Anschließend habe ich den Hintergrund mit Distress Inks gewischt und für die Sterne etwas verdünnte weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. Danach musste ich nur noch das Malerkrepp und die Maske für den Mond entfernen, mein Motiv aufkleben und den Grußtext hinzufügen, den ich mit Versafine-Tinte gestempelt und weiß embosst habe.
I started by stamping the bough with maker-proof ink on marker-proof paper and added the little bird on top using a Stamp-a-ma-jig. After that I colored the image with Copics. For the background I masked of the edge of my card base with painter's tape, punched out a circle for the moon from removable labels paper and stuck it down. I then sponged the background with Distress Inks and added a few splashes of diluted white acrylic paint for the stars. To finish off my card I removed my mask, glued down my image and added my sentiment using Versafine ink and white embossing powder.
