Einen Bekannten von uns hat es kürzlich ganz schlimm erwischt, da war eine Karte zur Aufmunterung dringend nötig. Da sie für einen Mann gedacht war und dessen Zustand wirklich besorgniserregend war, sollte die Karte weder niedlich noch quietschpink werden, aber trotzdem etwas Aufmunterndes, Fröhliches an sich haben. Daher habe ich mich für ein grafisches Muster mit sonnigen, neutralen Farben entschieden.
An acquaintance of ours recently caught a bad bug and urgently needed a bit of encouragement. Of course I immediately thought of making a card. As the recipient was a man and his condition had been really alarming I didn't want it to look cute or to display something like fifty shades of pink. It should however cheer the recipient up. That's why I opted for a graphic pattern in fresh and sunny colors.

Dazu habe ich zunächst ein Stück weißen Cardstock mit Oxide Inks in verschiedenen Gelb-, Grün- und Blautönen gewischt. Anschließend habe ich dieses Stück Cardstock ebenso wie ein cremefarbenes mit einem geometrischen Hintergrundmotiv ausgestanzt und die einzelnen Elemente beider wieder zusammengefügt.
I started by sponging a piece of white cardstock in different hues of yellow, green and blue Oxide Inks. After that I die-cut this piece as well as a creme colored one with a geometric background die, put the different pieces together and stuck them onto my card base.

Zum Schluss habe ich noch meinen Grußtext, ein paar Paillettensterne und ein Stück goldene Dekokordel hinzugefügt, das meiste davon assymetrisch ausgerichtet, um dem Design mehr Dynamik zu verleihen.
To finish of my card I added a German greeting (reading get well), a few star sequins and a piece of golden twine. Most of those elements were arranged asymmetrically to make the whole design look more dynamic.
