Hallo, ihr Lieben! Heute ist schon wieder Zeit für eine neue Herausforderung auf dem Stempelküche-Challenge-Blog. Passend zum Endspurt der diesjährigen Karnevals-Saison lautet Thema der nächsten beiden Wochen "Kamelle", und mein Beispielprojekt dazu sieht so aus:
Hello everyone! It's time again for a new challenge over at Stempelküche challenge blog. As the highlight of this year's carnival season, the so called street carnival with lots of parades and parties lies ahead in several parts of Germany, we're asking you to share creations featuring "Kamelle", a German dialect word for candy, for the next fortnight. My inspiration project for you looks like this:

Statt einer Karte habe ich diesmal einen Flaschenanhänger gewerkelt, den man hervorragend zum Verzieren alkoholischer (oder auch nicht-alkoholischer) Mitbringsel für Gastgeber von Karnevalspartys verwenden kann.
This time, instead of a card I created a bottle tag, which is a great decoration for alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) beverages that you might give as a gift to hosts of carnival (or other) parties.

Um dem Thema gerecht zu werden, habe ich all meine Stempelsets nach Bonbon-Motiven durchsucht und bin bei zwei Lawn-Fawn-Sets fündig geworden. Diese habe ich mit einem der Arme aus dem "Monster Love"-Set von Concord &9th kombiniert, damit es so aussieht, als würde jemand während eines Karnevalsumzugs eine Handvoll Kamelle in die Luft werfen. Als Kölnerin passt für mich dazu natürlich nur der Spruch "Kölle Alaaf", den ich mangels eines passenden Stempels selbst gelettert habe.
To match the theme I searched all of my stamp sets for candy images and found some in two different Lawn Fawn sets. I combined those with one of the arms from Concord & 9th's "Monster Love" set to create a scene that's typical for a German carnival parade where the participants throw handfuls of candy into the crowd. Being from Cologne I opted for the traditional regional carinval parole: "Kölle Alaaf" as my greeting. As I don't have a matching stentiment stamp I handlettered the words.
