Hallo, ihr Lieben! Heute gibt es bei mir zur Abwechslung mal eine Babykarte. Die mache ich normalerweise immer erst, wenn ich sie brauche, aber diesmal habe ich tatsächlich eine auf Vorrat gemacht, weil ich es gar nicht abwarten konnte, die süßen Criter aus dem dem neuen "Hallo Baby"-Set von danipeuss zu kolorieren.
Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a baby card for a change. I usually only make baby cards when I need them, but this time I actually made one for my stash because I couldn't wait to color these cute little critters from danipeuss' new "Hello Baby" set.

Ich habe mal wieder Copics benutzt (die Farben, die ich verwendet habe, habe ich am Ende des Posts aufgelistet), und den Hintergrund habe ich mit Oxide Inks gewischt. Weil es für mich so aussieht, als würden sich die süßen Kerlchen über eine flauschige Decke beugen und dem neuen Erdenbürger süße Träume wünschen, musste es natürlich ein Nachthimmel werden.
On this card I worked with Copics again (find all the colors I used listed at the end of this post) and sponged the background with Oxide Inks. Because I think it looks as if the little cuties bend down over a fluffy blanket to wish sweet dreams to the newborn I opted for a night sky.

Für den Mond habe ich einfach mit einer kleinen Kreisstanze ein Stück Maskierpapier ausgestanzt und auf meinen Hintergrund geklebt. Anschließend habe ich mit den Oxide Inks drübergewischt. Für die Sterne habe ich zunächst einen Pinsel mit etwas flüssiger weißer Acrylfarbe getränkt und diese über den Hintergrund geträufelt. Weitere Sterne habe ich mit einem weißen Gelstift hinzugefügt und nochmal andere mit einem transparenten Glitzergelstift. Zum Schluss habe ich das Maskierpapier abgezogen und mein Hintergrund war fertig.
To make the moon I grabbed a small circle punch, punched out a piece of masking paper and adhered the circle that resulted from this where I wanted my moon to be. After that I sponged everything with my inks. For the stars I first loaded a paint brush with white acrylic paint, which had diluted with quite a bit of water, and flicked it onto the background. I then drew in more stars with a white gel pen and a clear glitter gel pen. I then removed the masking paper and my background was finished.
