Na, zum türkisen Einhorn natürlich! Das fehlte doch noch in dem großen Regenbogen-Einhorn-Reigen. Hier steht es auf seiner flauschigen Wolke und erwartet seine Partygäste.
Do you remember the unicorn card I shared on the blog last Wednesday? On it no less then six unicorns are on their way over the clouds. Where are they heading for you might ask yourself. Well, they're on their way to visit the turquoise unicorn of course! That one had been missing in Wednesday's rainbow squad of unicorns, hadn't it? Here you see her standing on her fluffy cloud waiting for her party guests.

Wie seine Freunde von letzter Woche habe ich auch Turquoise - wie ich mein kleines Einhorn in einem Anfall von sprachliacher Kreativität getauft habe - mit Copics koloriert. Der Hintergrund ist mit Distress Inks gewischt.
Just like her friends I colored Turquoise - that's how I named the little lady in a fit of linguistic creativity - with Copics. The background is sponged with Distress Inks.

Richtig ausgetobt habe ich mich auf dieser Karte ausnahmsweise mal mit meinen Stanzen. Ich habe nicht nur vergleichsweise viele verwendet - nämlich ganze sechs an der Zahl - sondern ein paar davon auch noch ganz an meine Bedürfnisse angepasst. So habe ich beispielsweise den unteren Rand meines Tags mit einer Wolkenrandstanze etwas aufgelockert. Mit einer zusätzlichen zweiten Wokenrandstanze habe ich anschließend das flauschige Wölkchen ausgestanzt, über das Turqouise hüpft. Außerdem habe ich die gewellte Rechtechtstanze, mit der ich mein Hintergrundpapier ausgestanzt habe, verlängert, um es an das europäisches DIN-A6-Format anzupassen.
Quite exceptionally I went wild with die cutting on this card. Not only did I use a comparatively large number of dies (six altogether) but I also stretched some of them to fit my needs. I did for example die-cut the bottom edge of my tag with a cloud border die. Using an additional cloud border die I then die-cut the fluffy cloud Turquoise is hopping over. Furthermore I extended the scalloped rectangle die I used to cut my background paper with to fit it to the European standard card size.

Nach dieser ganzen Stanzarbeit passt die Karte ganz hervorragend zur aktuellen Vorgabe bei CAS(E) this Sketch (s.u.) und zum Thema Die-Cutting bei Challenge up your Life. Die Sonne wird in meiner Szene zwar von den Wolken verdeckt, aber ihr Dämmerlicht ist denke ich noch gut zu sehen, daher schicke ich die Karte auch bei den Paper Players in die Runde, bei denen das Thema diesmal Rain or Shine lautet.
With all that die-cutting done the card is a perfect match for the current sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch (see below) and the theme at Challenge up your Life. And although on my card is covered by the clouds I think you can easily see her colorful twighlight, thus I also link up my card at the Paper Players' current challenge with it's prompt Rain or Shine.
