Und noch einmal wird es heute blumig bei mir. Das "Roses For You"-Set von Simon Says Stamp gefällt mir so gut, das musste ich gleich noch einmal benutzen. Diesmal für eine Geburtstagskarte.
Today it's blooming on my blog again. I'm pretty much in love with the "Roses For You" set by Simon Says Stamp so I quickly had to make use of it once more. This time I made a birthday card with it.

Koloriert habe ich diesmal auf einer Neuentdeckung, "Paint On Naturel"-Paper von Clairefontaine. Das ist ein Multi-Media-Kraft-Papier, auf dem dich auch hervorragend Aquarellieren lässt. Die Idee hatte mich sofort begeistert, allerdings war mir beim Kauf nicht klar, wie gut die Farben auf dem Papier herauskommen würden. Für meinen ersten Versuch habe ich Distress Re-Inker verwendet und ich bin von der Farbbrillianz enorm beeindruckt. Mit der Zeit werde ich sicher noch andere Aquarellfarben auf diesem Papier testen, aber für Distress Inks kann ich es auf jeden Fall schon einmal empfehlen.
The paper I used is something I just recently discovered - "Paint On Naturel" by Clairefontaine. It's a multi media kraft paper that among others is ideal for watercoloring. I had been instantly fascinated by that idea. When purchasing the paper, however, I had been unsure how intense the colors would set off against it. For my first test I used Distress re-inkers and I'm absolutely impressed to see how bright they are on the toned paper. I'll sure test it wit other watercolors in the future, but I can definitely recommend it for use with Distress Inks right away.
