Auch auf die Gefahr hin, dass es langweilig wird, möchte ich euch heute noch einmal eine Karte mit einem der sommerlichen Distress-Hintergründe zeigen, die ich schon für meine letzte Karte verwendet habe (zu der es auch ein Video-Tutorial gibt).

Das Wischen hatte so viel Spaß gemacht, dass ich gleich mehrere Hintergründe fertiggestellt hatte, und als ich in meiner Restekiste zufällig auf die ausgestanzte Herzchenecke von Memory Box stieß, dachte ich, dass ich die beiden unbedingt kombinieren muss.
The sponging had been much fun that I couldn't stop at only one background. And when, just by chance, I grabbed the heart corner die-cut out of my scrap box I thought it would be a shame not to combine the two.

Das Kaffeethema wollte ich auch noch einmal aufgreifen, und da kamen mir der Eisbecher (ganz klar gefüllt mit Eiskaffee) und das Sentiment aus dem Lawn-Fawn-Set "Here's the Scoop" gerade recht. Ich habe sie mit Versafine "Onyx Black" und transparentem Embossingpulver direkt auf das Penel embossed. Und um beide Elemente ein bisschen vom Hintergrund abzuheben, habe ich sie mit der Technik schattiert, die Kelly Latevola in diesem Video vorstellt.
I also wanted to adress the coffee theme once more. Thus I grabbed the cute little sundae (in Germany iced coffee is typically served in glass cups like these) and a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's "Here's the Scoop" and embossed them directly onto my panel using Versafine "Onyx Black" and clear embossing powder. To highlight these elements I shaded them using the technique Kelly Latevola introduces in this video.
