Und schon wieder habe ich eines der neuen Motive von Purple Onion Designs verarbeitet - ich hoffe, ich langweile euch damit noch nicht.

Eigentlich hat die Karte mit einem ziemlich dicken Fehler begonnen. Mein Hauptmotiv, den VW-Bus, habe ich nämlich auf Skizzenpapier gestempelt - allerdings ein paar Tage bevor ich mit dem Kolorieren begonnen habe. Als ich das Motiv dann wieder zur Hand nahm, ging ich fälschlicherweise davon aus, dass es sich um satiniertes Aquarellpapier handelt und habe angefangen, es mit meinen Zigs auszumalen. Als die Farbe ungewöhnlich reagierte, ist mir mein Fehler sofort aufgefallen, allerdings habe ich auch bemerkt, dass die Zigs eigentlich auch auf dem Skizzenpapier ganz gute Ergebnisse liefern. Statt meinen Versuch in den Müll zu werfen, habe ich also einfach weitergemalt, und das ist das Ergebnis:
Actually it all started with a huge mistake. Some days ago I had stamped the van I'm using as my focal image onto sketch paper. However, when I turned to color it over the weekend I mistakenly took it for hot pressed watercolor paper and started to color it with my Zigs. By the unusual behaviour of the color I immediately recognized my mistake. But I also noticed that nonetheless the Zigs performed quite well on the sketchpaper. So instead of discarding the image I kept coloring, and here you see the result.
