Es ist Mittwoch und mal wieder Zeit für eine neue Herausforderung auf dem Stempelküche-Challenge-Blog. Das Thema der nächsten beiden Wochen lautet "Embossing", und meine Beispielkarte dazu sieht so aus:
It's Wednesday and time again for a new challenge over at the Stempelküche challenge blog. For the next fortnight we're asking you to share cards using "embossing" with us, and this is my inspiration card for you:

Wie ihr dem Untertitel unseres Themas entnehmen könnt, steht es euch frei, trocken oder heiß zu embossen, d.h. Folder o.Ä. zum Prägen zu verwenden oder mit Embossingpulver zu arbeiten. Auf meiner Karte kamen beide Techniken zum Einsatz. Für den Grußtext und das Herz im Hintergrund habe ich Embossingpulver verwendet, die Holzstruktur im Hintergrund wurde mit einem Prägefolder gestaltet. Die Stempelmotive stammen übrigens alle von Neat & Tangled. Die beiden Critter im Vordergrund habe ich mit Museum-Aquarell-Stiften koloriert. Das Herz und das Gras habe ich mit Distress Inks gewischt.
As you can see by the subtitle of our current prompt it's totally up to you to decide if you want to use heat or dry embossing. On my card, I used both techniques. I went with heat embossing on the greeting and the floral heart, and the wood texture in the background was done with an embossing folder. The stamps I used are all by Neat & Tangled by the way. To color the cute critters I used Museum Aquarell pencils, the heart and the grass were sponged with Distress Inks.
