Ich habe diesmal Post von der lieben Reni alias Kartenwind bekommen. Passend zu Ostern kam nicht nur eine wunderhübsche Karte von ihr hier an, sondern auch eine kleine Schokoüberraschung. Für beides hat Reni ihren supersüßen, selbst entworfenen Digi-Stempel "Hasen-Ei" verwendet, den ihr euch hier auf ihrem Blog kostenlos runterladen könnt. Weil Reni immer wunderschöne Aquarellkarten zaubert, hat sie die Häschen natürlich mit Aquarellfarben koloriert. Ich wünschte, ihr könntet ihre Post selbst in Händen halten. Live und in Farbe sieht die Koloration nämlich noch viel schöner und zarter aus als auf den Fotos und auch die Kartenform ist richtig genial. Wenn ihr nicht gerade schon daherkommt, müsst ihr unbedingt auf ihrem Blog vorbeischauen und euch ansehen, wie sie die gemacht hat. Ich bin jedenfalls schon sehr gespannt auf die Erklärung.
This time I received wonderful happy mail by dear Reni aka Kartenwind. Being my secret Easter bunny she not only sent me a card but also a sweet little Easter box full of surprises. For both of her creations Reni used the super sweet digi stamp "Hasen-Ei", which she made herself and which you can download for free from her blog here. As Reni always does magic with watercolors she of course also watercolored her bunnies. I wish you could see all that she sent me in person, because seeing her creations with your own eyes rather than through the lens of my camera they look even more soft and beautiful. Also the card base she made is awesome. Shouldn't you have arrived here from Reni's blog in the first place you must definitely hop over to see how she made it. For my part, I can't wait to find out about it.

Und hier seht ihr Renis kleine Osterüberraschung für mich. Eine zauberhaft gestaltete Eierbox mit vielen kleinen Leckerlis und einem weiteren süßen Hasenei. Ich bin richtig begeistert von dieser schönen Post, und selbst der Rest meiner Familie kam aus den Staunen nicht mehr heraus, als ich all die schönen Sachen aus der Verpackung holte.
So here's the fun Easter surpise Reni made for me. A wonderfully designed egg box with lots of treats and another cute bunny inside. I absolutely thrilled by her wonderful mail and even the rest of my family was deeply amazed when I unpacked my parcel.

Tja, und nun zu meinem Projekt für den Hop. Ich durfte die liebe Birka bewichteln, und ich hoffe, sie hat sich über meine Hasenpost gefreut.
Well, now let's turn to my project for the hop. I've had the pleasure to create a little something for lovely Birka and I hope she liked my bunny mail.

Auch ich habe sowohl eine Karte als auch ein kleines Schockoschenkli gebastelt. Für beides habe ich das süße "Cottontail Cuties"-Set von Neat and Tangled verwendet. Koloriert habe ich alle Motive mit Copics. Die Hintergrundelemente meiner Karte habe ich mit Distress Inks gewischt, und für meine Schachtel habe ich Motivpapier von Aldi verwendet. Leider weiß ich nicht mehr wie es heißt, aber weil Birka Rosa und Pink über alles liebt, musste ich es unbedingt verwenden, und ich hoffe, dass ich damit ihren Geschmack getroffen habe.
I also created a card and a little treat box for the hop. For both projects I used Neat and Tangled's sweet "Cottontail Cuties" set and I colored all images with Copics. The background elements on my card were sponged with Distress Inks and for my box I used patterned paper by German discounter Aldi. Unfortunately I do not know the name from the pad it came from. But as Birka loves everything pink I just had to use it and I hope I met her taste.
