Darum hat die liebe Milka auch in diesem Jahr wieder einen To-Bee-or-Not-to-Bee-Blog-Hop organisiert, bei dem ich schon letztes Jahr mitgemacht habe. Wahrscheinlich seit ihr von Samanthas Blog hierhergehüpft. Falls nicht und ihr den Hop gerne von vorne beginnen möchtet, solltet ihr erst einmal bei Milka vorbeischauen, wo der ganze Spaß losgeht. Selbstverständlich könnt ihr aber auch bei mir anfangen und euch von hier aus durcharbeiten.

That's why Milka has once again organized this To Bee or Not To Bee Blog Hop, which I already participated in last year. You probably hopped over to me from Samantha's blog. If not and you want to start from the beginning you may want to hop to Milka's blog first. This is, of course, totally up to you. You might as well begin here and work your way through all of the stops that way.

Bienen sind für unser Ökosystem enorm wichtig. Als Bestäuberinnen zählen sie zu den wichtigsten Nutztieren der Welt. Ohne sie hätten etliche Pflanzen Schwierigkeiten sich zu vermehren, was letzten Endes spürbare Auswirkungen auf uns Menschen hätte. Es gibt jedoch zunehmend weniger Bienen auf der Welt. Darum soll am heutigen Tag auf die wichtige Rolle der Biene aufmerksam gemacht werden, woran wir uns mit unserem Blog Hop beteiligen wollen.
Mein Projekt für den Hop ist eine Karte mit einem süßen Bienchen von Purple Onion Designs. Sieht sie nicht glücklich aus wie sie da um diese prächtigen Blümchen herumfliegt? Koloriert habe ich die Szene mit einer Mischung aus Winsor & Newton Aquarellmarkern und Albrecht-Dürer-Aquarellstiften.
Bees are essential for our ecosystem. As pollinators they are among the most important livestock in the world. Without them a huge amount of plants would have difficulties to reproduce, which would eventually have noticeable effects on humans as well. Slowly but continuously, though, there are less bees in the world. That's why this day shall raise awareness of the importance of bees and the onging decline of the colonies. And with our hop we want to support this endeavour.
My project for this hop is a card with a cute little bee by Purple Onion Designs. Doesn't she look happy flying around those splendid flowers? I colored the image with a combination of Winsor & Newton watercolor markers and Albrecht Dürer Watercolor pencils.
