Na, habt ihr über's Wochenende schon fleißig geshoppt bei Purple Onion Designs? Oder habt ihr kein so großes Interesse an Stempeln dieses Herstellers, weil ihr mit den niedlichen Motiven, für die Purple Onion Designs seit Jahren bekannt sind, nichts anfangen könnt? Dann habe ich heute vielleicht eine Überraschung für euch, denn der neue Release beinhaltet diesmal nicht nur niedliche Critter, sondern auch einige traditionelle Motive, wie z.B. das Blumenarrangement, mit dem ich meine heutige Karte gestaltet habe.
So, did you already do your shopping for the latest Purple Onion Designs release over the weekend? Or rather not because you're not really interested in the cute images they've become know for over the past years? If so, I might have a surprise for you today. Because this time the new release does not only consist of cute citters but there are also a few more traditional images available, as for example the floral spray I worked with on today's card.

Koloriert habe ich die Blütenpracht mit Copics, den Hintergrund habe ich mit Distress Inks gewischt. Leider habe ich mir beim erstellen der Maske für das Blumenarrangement nicht so viel Mühe gegeben. Ich dachte, eventuelle Lücken, die beim Wischen der Hintergrundfarbe entstehen, könne ich später noch mit Copics ausfüllen. Unglücklicherweise sind die Übergänge, wenn man genau hinguckt, trotzdem sichtbar. Aber sei's drum, nächstes Mal gebe ich mir wieder mehr Mühe beim Masken erstellen.
I colored the luscious bouquet with Copics and sponged the background with Distress Inks. Unfortunately I have not invested much time in creating a mask for the florals. I thought I could fill up eventual gaps that are revealed after the sponging with Copics. The transitinos, however, are still quite visible, when you look closely. Anyway, next time I'll invest more time in cutting my masks again.
