Prinzipiell könnte ich sie auch als einfache winterliche Grußkarte verwenden - der lustige Schneemann, der mit coolen Grüßen ins Haus flattert, ist in dieser Hinsicht ja variabel einsetzbar. Aber angesichts der vielen Weihnachtskarten, die ich jedes Jahr verschicke, wird er für mich sicher auch Grüße zum Fest übermitteln.

Koloriert habe ich Mr. Cool mit Copics. Das geht bei Schneemännern ja dankenswerter weise recht schnell. Damit der lustige Kerl nicht ganz platt aussieht, setze ich allerdings immer noch ein paar Schatten auf die weißen Schneekugeln. Hier habe ich sehr helle Blautöne gewählt (BG0000, BG000 und ganz wenig BG01), alternativ kann man aber auch ein kühles Grau oder sehr helles Blauviolett verwenden - je nachdem wie man die Umgebung gestaltet. Hier passte das Blau einfach bestens zum Hintergrund, den ich mit weißem Glitzerpapier einem Hauch Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass gestaltet habe.
I colored Mr. Cool using Copics. Thankfully, that's a rather quick task when it comes to snowmen. However, to lend a more dimensional look to the image, I always add a few shadows to the white snowballs. On this image I used very light blues (BG0000, BG000 and very little BG01). Alternatively you could also use a cool grey or a very light blue violett. This always depends on the scene you create. Here, the blues are a perfect match to the the background, which I made using white glitter paper and a hint of tumbled glass Distress Ink.
