Erinnert ihr euch noch an "denglisch", das witzige Stempelset von danipeuss mit den wörtlich ins Englische übersetzten deutschen Sprichwörtern? Für meine heutige Karte habe ich es noch mal verwendet.

Dem süßen Fuchs von Neat & Tangled konnte ich bei dieser Karte nicht widerstehen. Da der natürlich überhaupt nicht wild aussieht, habe ich den Spruch noch um ein "sometimes" und ein "sorry" erweitert - die beiden Wörter habe ich einfach mit einem passenden Font am Computer erstellt und ausgedruckt -, sodass eine ganz liebe Entschuldigungskarte dabei herausgekommen ist, die den Empfänger hoffentlich sofort milde stimmt.
To be "fox devil's wild" in German means to be hopping mad or furious. Because of the reference to the fox I couldn't resist to work with Neat & Tangled's cute critter. Of course, he doesn't look mad at all. That's why I added an additional "sometimes" and a "sorry" - both words were simply created using a computer and a matching font - to make a nice little apology card which hopefully appeases any recipient at once.

Koloriert habe ich meine Szene mit einer Kombination aus Aquarellmarkern und Aquarellstiften. Den Wolkenhintergrund habe ich mit Distress Ink gewischt.
I colored the scene with a combination of watercolor markers and watercolor pencils and sponged the clouds in the background with Distress Ink.
