Geburtstagskarten braucht man immer und mit kleinen Törtchen als Motiv kann man eigentlich nie falsch liegen, ganz gleich wie alt das Geburtstagskind wird. Daher habe ich mich riesig über das neue "Happy Cupcakes"-Set aus dem aktuellen Stempel-Release von danipeuss gefreut. Neben den Törtchen enthält es noch einen "Happy Birthday"-Schriftzug und alle Ziffern von Null bis Neun - sehr praktisch.
We always need birthday cards, don't we? And we can never go wrong using cupcakes as our focal images, regardless of the recipients age. That's why I totally love the new "Happy Cupcakes" set from the latest stamp release by danipeuss. Apart from three little cupcakes it also includes a Happy Birthday greeting and all numbers from zero to nine.

Die Törtchen und den Schriftzug auf meiner heutigen Karte habe ich mit Polychromos koloriert. Damit die Farben auf dem getönten Cardstock gut zur Geltung kommen, habe ich zunächst alle Flächen weiß ausgemalt, bevor ich mit den Farben darübergegangen bin.
I used Polychromos pencils to color the cupcakes and the greeting on today's card. To make the colors look bright and vivid on the kraft cardstock I started by laying down a whole layer of white first before I added the color.
