Gerade läuft wieder die 30 Day Coloring Challenge von Kathy Racoosin, bei der es darum geht, 30 Tage in Folge jeden Tag ein wenig zu kolorieren. Nachdem ich die letzten Male keine Zeit hatte, regelmäßig dabei zu sein, versuche ich, diesen Monat wieder öfter teilzunehmen. Den Papagei, den ihr auf meiner heutigen Karte seht, habe ich im Rahmen der Challenge koloriert. (Meine Beiträge dazu findet ihr übrigens auf meinem Instagram-Account.)

Für die Koloration habe ich Copics verwendet, wobei die große Herausforderung für mich bei diesem Motiv das verblenden unterschiedlicher Farbgruppen (am Kopf und dem Flügel des Vogel) war. An so etwas hatte ich mich bisher noch nicht herangewagt, und für einen ersten Versuch bin ich sehr zufrieden.
I used Copics for the coloring, and with this image the challenge for me was to blend different color groups (on the head and the wing of the bird). I had never before tried something like this and I must admit I'm really pleased with it considering it's a first try.

Für das Layout der Karte habe ich mich - zugegebenermaßen sehr locker - an den Vorgaben der aktuellen Sketch-Challenge von My Favorite Things orientiert.
For the cards layout I - rather loosely - followed the current sketch at My Favorite Things' weekly sketch challenge.
